Meet Attorney Mark A. Barney
For over seventeen years, Mark A. Barney has earned solid reputation representing people injured through no fault of their own. His cases range from wrongful death cases where workers died on the jobsite to car wreck cases where severe injuries forever altered his clients’ lives. As a wrongful death lawyer and car accident lawyer, Mr. Barney has pursued cases against entities such as coal companies, construction companies, the State of West Virginia, insurance companies, and other persons and entities who caused serious injuries to his clients.
Mark A. Barney has a proven track record in defending people against criminal charges. His criminal law practice includes the defense of charges ranging from DUI, to domestic battery, to murder. He dedicates a portion of his practice to representing inmates in habeas corpus, post-conviction cases challenging the constitutionality of their sentences.
